You will need to know your vehicle’s engine size to use this table. Once you know, you can determine your Subaru timing belt interval by using the first table and the reference key. Be sure to look at the second table to see whether or not the engine is interference-fit.

{35} – On models prior to 1993, replace every 60,000 miles. On 1993-97 except CA models, replace every 60,000 miles. On 1993-97 CA models, inspect every 30,000 miles & replace at 105,000 miles.
{54} – On models prior to 1999 replace every 60,000 miles. On 1999 & later models inspect every 30,000 miles or 30 months, then replace at 105,000 miles or 105 month intervals.
