Audi timing belt interval

You will need to know your vehicle’s engine size to use this table. Once you know, you can determine your Audi timing belt interval by using the first table and the reference key. Be sure to look at the second table to see whether or not the engine is interference-fit.

{38} – Replace tensioner every 105,000 miles. On 2001 1.8L engine, replace at 120,000 miles. On 2001-08 2.7L & 4.2L replace every 105,000 miles. On 2001-03 2.8L replace timing belt tensioner every 105,000 miles. On all other models, the manufacturer does not recommend a specific maintenance interval.
